Recently, I helped a customer struggling with weak Wi-Fi coverage in parts of their home. After discussing their needs and the layout of their property, I recommended a suitable Wi-Fi range extender that would work well with their existing broadband setup and provide reliable coverage in dead zones.
Once the adapter arrived, I visited their home to complete the setup. I installed and configured the extender, ensuring it was positioned for optimal signal strength and performance. I also connected and tested their key devices.
This was primarily to be used at their home computer that required an ethernet connection due to a damaged Wi-Fi adapter, so this was connected with a spare ethernet cable, connection established and internet tested and running smothly.
The customer now has fast, stable Wi-Fi throughout their home, and I’ve given them a few simple tips to monitor performance or make adjustments if needed. A quick, cost-effective solution with a big improvement to their everyday connectivity.
