Solar Panel Survey

I recently carried out an aerial survey for a customer wanting to check the condition of their rooftop solar panels. The goal was to assess whether the panels needed cleaning and to get a clear view of their general state without the need for ladders or scaffolding.

Using a 4K drone, I captured detailed video footage and high-resolution photos of the entire roof area and solar installation. This allowed the customer to clearly see any build-up of dirt or debris, as well as check for signs of wear, damage, or obstruction.

After the survey, I provided the customer with a full 4K video and a selection of still images, giving them a complete visual overview of their system. It’s a quick, safe, and effective way to monitor solar panel condition — and helps inform when cleaning or maintenance is actually needed.
